I am trying to chain two MIOs together via firewire - with one MIO linked directly to my MAC and the other linked only to the first MIO. MIO console, however, can only see the unit hooked directly to the computer. Can anyone help me set these up?

Hello, Just got a ULN-2 on tryout. This is ... (Carlos Najar)

Hello,
Just got a ULN-2 on tryout. This is the original version with no DSP's. Noticing that it only has 2 analog inputs/outputs (1 stereo channel only), I wonder if I could use it as a "last device" configuration, feeding 2 submixers into it. These submixers are a Rane SM 82 going into a Soundcraft Folio Lite, and from there it will go into the ULN-2, the outputs from the ULN-2 going into a pair of Adam A7 powered monitors.

I wonder if there would be any "sound degradation" happening on this configuration. This is for the analog inputs only. Via Firewire, I'm connecting a Macbook with softsynths.

I would appreciate your opinion on this.

Also, the ULN-2 did not come with its rack ears, I wonder if I could get replacements from you.

I appreciate your reply, best regards

Hi there, The 9v dc adapter on my ULN-2 ... (Owen)

Hi there,

The 9v dc adapter on my ULN-2 is loose and power is intermittant, it powers up if I get it in just the right place and then the unit works fine. I have been trying to find a 4 pin xlr power adapter but I haven't managed to find one for under £40 or so pounds!

I notice that you sell a round 9v adapter but I was wondering if you also sold the 4pin xlr variety?

if not, how easy would it be for me to open up the unit and solder on a replacement 9v socket? I bough the unit second hand so there is no warranty to preserve!

Thanks in advance for any help.

I am getting a 6db signal loss at the line inputs. Line is set to +4 and all trims at zero - I am feeding tone at -18db and it is registering -24db. I can of course trim it up but surely should not need to?

Hi,

I own a MacBook laptop for live shows, and a 2x2,5Ghz G5 in my studio. Can I install the channel strip on both with one license, or do I need two ?

Thanks
