GoodMath
GoodMath is the result a workflow process that Rick Carson, 9x Grammy nominated mixing and mastering engineer and owner of Make Believe Studios, has been using for years in his mixing. GoodMath allows him to use the workflow with one plugin rather than 4.
GoodMath allows you to increase the level without sacrificing depth and clarity. The three number controls are gains, and they are stacked; the perception is that running the multiple stacked gains with rounding back to 32-bit float (25-bit mantissa) scrambles the lowest bits in a way that's euphonic, as well as providing gain. The golden "A" hole is a nice soft-saturator pulled from Metric Halo’s bag of tricks.
